  Floreat World of Travel is an independently owned and managed
  retail travel agency.

  We are members of Travellers Choice, a retail marketing Group for
  independent agencies that has over 180 members nation-wide.
  The Group were established in 1977 with six members in Western 
  Australia and has grown through the spirit of co-operation and
  independence. We pride ourselves on our 'World of Experience' and
  strive to provide all of our clients with their ultimate dream holiday.

  In 2004, the agency was runner-up in the Groups' coveted 'Brian Pateman Agency Award for
  Excellence' and were recognised as a 'Choice Award' winner in 2008 and 2009 (Bronze
  Category).  

  We are appointed specialist representatives for Canada, Hong Kong, Africa , Las Vegas and
  Ireland and members of the International Cruise Council Australia .  Staff attend regular training
  to maintain their status.  We are one of the few select agents who can issue intra WA tickets on
  TransWA Services.

  Floreat World of Travel are members of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA);
  the Travel Compensation Fund (TCF); and Charter for Safe Travel.

  Staff Profiles

  Dianne Garbin, Managing Director - Prior to entering the travel industry, Dianne had a long
  serving  career in the Australian Regular Army in the areas, of Human Resource and Finance
  Management.  During her career Dianne achieved the rank of Major and become a Member of
  the Order of Australia in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 1986. 

  In 1993 Dianne completed her Advanced Certificate of Travel Consulting and has been employed
  in her Kirwan Street location ever since, purchasing the agency in March 1998.

  Dianne never misses an opportunity to update her destination knowledge to this end she has
  travelled to New Zealand, Fiji, New Caledonia, Tahiti,  South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe,
  Mauritius, Rodrigues, Dubai, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia, Singapore,
  Hong Kong, Macau, West Coast Canada and  USA in addition to Washington and New York, United
  Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria,
  Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Greece, Estonia, Russia and Croatia as special favorite as she is
  of Croatian descent.  She has also lived and travelled extensively in Australia.

  Dianne is an accredited Cruise Consultant and will complete her Cruise Masters Training this year.

   Peta Beckingham, Senior Consultant - Peta gained her Bachelor of Applied Science before
  undertaking the AFTA Travel Course in 1995.  Peta has been employed by Dianne since she
  completed her course.  

  She has travelled to New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Dubai, Vietnam,
  Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Hong Kong, British Colombia & Alberta, United Kingdom,
  Ireland, France, Italy, Germany and a large part of Australian.

  Peta is an accredited Cruise Consultant.

  Both Dianne and Peta thrive on challenging itineraries and planning your holiday of a life time.

  The agency also employs Mr Les Howe and Mrs Cheryl Bamford.
